Stamped Concrete Patios

Patios are a specialty of ours. We see them not just as a floor in the yard but as a space you want to share with family and friends to extend your house and bring quality to your life.  That makes them a showcase for our services and the possibilities of stamped concrete which can transform any patio into a dream vista of slate, stone, cobbles, or bricks without the costs and maintenance of the real materials.  Instead you get a practical, affordable, durable hardscape that looks straight out of the pages of the lifestyle magazines but at a price you can afford.  Call us right now and let us talk you through the possibilities of your own stamped concrete patio outside your door.

Stamped Concrete vs. Regular Concrete

  • What is stamped concrete? We start by pouring regular concrete then "stamp" it with overlays to create a pattern. The low cost, glamorous look of stone and brick pavers is achieved through a lower cost by expertly concrete stamping designs and repeating patterns in freshly poured concrete.
  • What kind of concrete stamping patterns are available?
Forget tired old drab slabs of gray, cracked concrete and let us show you how stamped concrete can bring color and texture to your property, and a sense of pride and increased property value. Stamped or stained concrete is sometimes referred to as textured or imprinted concrete and can by made to look like slate or flagstone, tile, brick or most surprisingly, even wood. The wide range of color choices will give your patios, pool decks, and driveway a whole new look. It’s a very low maintenance material, as well.
  • How much does a stamped concrete patio cost?
A basic designed concrete patio or driveway will cost $8 - $12 per square foot. We tend to see about $10 per square in the Fort Wayne area. Some more intricate patterns will run higher (between $12 - $15 per square). If you're replacing an existing deck or old patio, the cost to remove and excavate what you already have will add to the cost.
  • How long will it last?
Because the installation process for stamped and standard concrete is basically the same, both will last about 25 years. Of course this assumes it has been properly installed by a professional concrete expert with experience.
  • Is it more slippery than other concrete?
Generally no. Stamped driveways and patios have more texture and can provide more traction than non-stamped areas. There are several ways we can make it even more slip-resistant, primarily with special non-slip additives to the water-resistant sealer coat. Mention this if you have a special concern when we talk.
  • Does stamped concrete increase your home value?
A concrete patio may add value to your home but generally just a little. The added value comes from increasing the overall curb appeal of your home which makes it more attractive to prospective home buyers. Let us bring beauty to your Fort Wayne home today!
  • Which is better stamped concrete or pavers?
When you take into account the maintenance, repair or replacement of traditional pavers, concrete stamping or stained concrete is much cheaper initially and in the long run. Poured and patterned concrete installation by professionals is much faster than laying down natural stone and pavers. Compared to natural stone which requires regular weeding, this is the obvious low-maintenance option and can last for decades. The sheer variety of patterns and colors make this option the most appealing to many people.
  • Driveway replacement or repair?
If you're current driveway is starting to crack or crumble it may be time to replace or repair it. You'll save quite a bit of money if you can repair it. Small cracks may be able to be patched but if the damage is considerable it may be time to replace it completely. Call us for a free inspection and we can let you know what will work best. A stamped concrete driveway replacement will significantly improve your home's curb appeal and increase your home value in competitive markets.

Pricing

How much does it cost? We are confident that our pricing will pleasantly surprise you, so much so that we are happy to offer a free estimate to every potential customer.  There are lots of online calculators on the Net that seem to suggest all you need to do for a free concrete estimate is enter the square footage but as professionals in the business we know there's more to it than that.

We are always happy to come to you and make a real assessment based on your property, your project, your needs, and your dreams and come up with a realistic estimate that we are sure will make you happy.

Concrete Resurfacing

One of our greatest pleasures is completely remodeling a customer's hardscapes at the lowest possible cost by using the existing but aging surface and bringing it bang up to date with a designer resurface.  If you'd prefer to repair your old concrete patio we can grind down the old concrete and treat it to a completely new surface of textured, stained, and sealed concrete.

You won't believe how good it will look, and how reasonable the cost for concrete repair can be.

A dream driveway will impress visitors, puff your heart with pride, and immediately add to your curbside appeal and hard dollar value of your real estate.  We can turn that dream into hard wearing, long lasting, low maintenance reality in as little as a day or two of installation or resurfacing time. Driveway replacement with a stamped or patterned finish will last for years to come.

Whether you are installing a new driveway, looking to give new life to an old one, or simply sharpening up the look of your current drive we can help with a stunning array of designs for every type of house.  Your driveway isn't just a vehicle access to your property: it's a statement about yourself to every visitor.  Let's talk about what kind of statement you want to make and how we can deliver that dream driveway at less than you think it's going to cost.

Sidewalks

Stained concrete is perfect for sidewalks, and especially where the walkway is a little unusual. Concrete can be poured to absolutely any shape so it can easily handle a meandering path through your outdoor garden, or around water features and flower beds.  It can be any color or design so you can set your imagination free about how that pathway to heaven is going to look.  Plus it can be made safe for small feet and high heels by the application of a non skid additive to the surface sealant.

Call us today to see how we can totally transform your sidewalks and garden paths.

Stamped Concrete Pool Decks

Everyone in the pool!  That's our favorite summer shout out and if you trust your pool deck to us you'll be showing off your poolside this summer.  No more cracked or stained pool decks, no annual maintenance to seal wood and sand for splinters.  Just beautiful, hard wearing stamped and stained surfaces that shrug off harsh pool chemicals and have inbuilt anti skid.
